An Inspiring Journey to Honour Sacred Knowledge 

We are pleased to announce a special road trip for brothers only to attend the Bukhari Graduation Ceremony in Kidderminster, where students from Darul Uloom Bury and Madina Tul  Uloom Kidderminster will, by the grace of Allah, be completing their studies in Sahih al-Bukhari — the most authentic collection of Hadith in Islam. 
 

The Virtue of Attending a Bukhari Completion 

Attending a Bukhari Jalsa is a unique and blessed opportunity. It is a gathering where the final hadith of Sahih al-Bukhari is recited — traditionally accompanied by powerful duʿās made by scholars, students, and attendees. Such gatherings are filled with barakah (blessing), and are occasions where angels descend, hearts are softened, and supplications are accepted, insha’Allah. 

It is reported that the Prophet ﷺ said: 

“When a group of people gather in one of the houses of Allah, reciting the Book of Allah and studying it among themselves, tranquility descends upon them, mercy covers them, angels surround them, and Allah mentions them to those near Him.” 
[Sahih Muslim] 

Being present at such a significant event is a means of earning immense reward, showing support for sacred knowledge, and benefiting from the heartfelt duʿās made at the conclusion.

Departure Location: Baytul Ilm, Burn Park Road, Sunderland, SR2 7LS 

Departure Time: Coach will leave promptly at 6:00 AM 

Arrival Time at Departure Point: Please arrive by 5:45 AM at the latest 

Parking Notice: There are parking restrictions on Beechwood — please plan accordingly if arriving by car. 

Cost: 

£45 per person 

(Children under 12 allowed but must be accompanioed with an adult. Children over 12 must have parental consent. Please note ticket price is the same for children and adults)

Lunch will be served at the venue by the Madrasa.
